(“Websites”), are collected, used and processed by Greenberg Traurig Germany LLP, Potsdamer Platz 1, 10785 Berlin, Germany („Greenberg Traurig Germany“) for the purposes described below and in compliance with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMA). Greenberg Traurig Germany is data controller according to German data protection law.

2. Type, scope and purpose of data usage
2.1. In order to participate at our #medialawcamp on 27 November 2015 in Berlin (“#medialawcamp”), you must register via the registration form on the Website. We process and use the data entered by you for the registration, carrying-out and de-briefing of the #medialawcamp.
2.2. If you also wish to receive our newsletter, you must register on the Website for the newsletter. Greenberg Traurig Germany offers newsletters to various topics. If you register for the newsletter in connection with your registration for the #medialawcamp, you will receive news and event invitations on the topics media, eCommerce as well as IT and data protection. For the newsletter we only process and use your name, company and email address.
2.3 Your registration via the online registration form must be confirmed by you through the double opt-in procedure: You must confirm your online registration to the #medialawcamp and, if applicable, to the newsletter by activating the link that we will send you via email after registration.

3. Third parties
3.1. Greenberg Traurig Germany transfers your personal data only to third parties that are engaged for operating the Websites and their related services, e.g., our IT service provider, a service provider hosting the CRM database, and a marketing agency responsible for the CMS system. Greenberg Traurig Germany contractually obliges these third parties as data processors to comply with applicable data protection laws.
3.2. Except as described above, your personal data will not be transferred to any third party without your prior information or explicit consent, as applicable.

4. Consent/Right to Withdraw
Your registration on the Website is voluntary and at your sole discretion. You have the right to withdraw your registration to the #medialawcamp and to the newsletter for the future at any time by sending us an email to

5. Deletion or Blocking of Data
We block your personal data according to applicable data protection laws when the above described purposes, for which we collected or received your data, has been fulfilled, e.g., after a following-up to the #medialawcamp or after withdrawing from the newsletter. Your data will then be deleted irrevocably after expiry of the applicable statutory archiving obligation.
